The Kalumbila Challenge Important Information

• Where: At Sentinel school Kalumbila Town.

• When: 5th September 2026

Entry fees:  

• 5km Fun Run (no prizes) - 120 ZMW

• 10km run - 200 ZMW

• 15km run - 200 ZMW

• 25km cycle - 200 ZMW

• 50km cycle – 200 ZMW

• Chess tournament – 100 ZMW

• Football (32 teams), 7 a side tournament -2100 ZMW per a team.

Racepack collection days:

• Solwezi Kansanshi Foundation: Tuesday 1st & Wednesday 2nd September from 14:00-18:00

• Kalumbila Sentinel School: Thursday 3rd & Friday 4th September from 14:00 – 18:00.

Starting times events:

• 5km Fun Run - 8:00

• 50km cycle - 7:00

• 25km cycle - 7:15

• 15km run - 7:30

• 10km run - 7:45

• 5km Fun Run – 8:00

• Chess tournament – 7:30

• Football (32 teams), 7 a side tournament – 7:30

Prize-giving ceremony for runners and cyclists will begin at 11:00 am followed by the presentation for the Chess winners.

The final football cup match is scheduled for 16:00, and this will conclude the Kalumbila Challenge event at approximately 17:00.
